DAY 2 ­ EN ROUTE
Enjoy the amenities on board as you travel across the Pacific and cross the International Dateline, skipping a day ahead of your friends back home.

DAY 3 ­ MELBOURNE, VICTORIA
Early morning, you'll arrive at Melbourne, in the state of Victoria. You'll be transferred to your hotel in the heart of Melbourne. Relax and rest until late afternoon when you board the Colonial Tramcar Restaurant, which cruises the streets of Melbourne while diners enjoy fine cuisine, Australian wines and spirits. DAY 4 ­ MELBOURNE SIGHTSEEING
A morning tour will familiarize you with this cultural capital of Australia. You'll explore the Botanical Gardens and Fitzroy Gardens, see Captain Cook's Cottage, along with other highlights of this charming city. The afternoon is free for more exploration on your own.

DAY 5 ­ YARRA VALLEY WINERIES
This morning you'll embark on a daylong tour of the wineries of the Yarra Valley. Travel by coach or private car out through the suburbs to the Blue Dandenongs and the wine country. Pay a visit to noteworthy wineries with tasting, including Domaine Chandon. Lunch is spit roast beef at Fergusson's.

DAY 6 ­ ADELAIDE, SOUTH AUSTRALIA
Depart on a flight for Adelaide. You'll be met and transferred to your hotel in the heart of the city. The remainder of the day is at leisure. You'll want to explore the cuisine in the city that has more restaurants per capital than any other Australian city. Overnight: Adelaide

DAY 7 ­ ADELAIDE AND ENVIRONS ­ SIGHTSEEING
Enjoy a half-day sightseeing tour of the highlights of Adelaide, and travel to the Adelaide Hills with its' quaint villages and stunning distant land and seascapes. Overnight: Adelaide

 

DAY 8 ­ THE WINE TRAIN - BAROSSA VALLEY - ADELAIDE
Travel by Barossa Wine Train to the Barossa Valley today where you'll be treated to tastings at famous wineries such as Wolf Blass, Langmeil and Chateau Tanunda and a sumptuous lunch. Walk through vines, meet the locals and take in the Barossa's German heritage, returning by train to Adelaide later in the afternoon. Overnight: Adelaide L

DAY 9 ­ ADELAIDE - LAUNCESTON, TASMANIA ­ SLEEP IN A VINEYARD
Transfer to the Adelaide air terminal for your flight to Launceston, Tasmania, in the island state of Australia. Upon arrival, pick up a rental car for the short trip to Rosevears Estate, known for its winemaking excellence and wonderful restaurant. Arrive in time for tea, enjoy wine tasting, and luxury accommodations in a vineyard setting with sweeping views over the Tamar River. Overnight: Rosevears Estate Tea

DAY 10 ­ CRADLE MOUNTAIN NATIONAL PARK
After breakfast, delivered to your room, enjoy the vineyard view and learn about the winemaking at Rosevears. Have lunch in the restaurant, which showcases the best of Tasmania's fine food. Later depart by rental car for Cradle Mountain National Park, arriving at Cradle Mountain Lodge, situated on the edge of the Cradle Mountain-Lake St. Clair National Park.

DAY 11­ CRADLE MOUNTAIN LODGE
In the morning or afternoon you can enjoy a walk around Dove Lake, which sits under majestic Cradle Mountain for an excellent introduction to the stunning wilderness. Nature walks with guides are offered. Cradle Mountain Lodge B, L, D

DAY 12 ­ CRADLE MOUNTAIN ­ SYDNEY ­ HUNTER VALLEY
Leaving Cradle Mountain National Park behind after breakfast, travel by car back to Launceston for your flight to Sydney, where you'll be met by your driver/guide and tken to Hunter Valley, the wine growing area north of Sydney. (You may choose to self-drive to Hunter Valley) Nestled in the heart of Hunter Valley wine country, surrounded by beautiful country gardens and overlooking vineyards and bush land, Peppers Guest House is the ideal escape from today's busy lifestyle. DAY 13 ­ HUNTER VALLEY - SYDNEY

DAY 14 ­ SYDNEY SIGHTSEEING
Enjoy a private tour this morning with driver/guide of the highlights of Sydney. From Circular Quay you'll tour past the famous Opera House, the Botanical Gardens, Mrs. Macquaries Chair, to Kings Cross area. Travel to Bondi Bay stopping at Watson's Gap to view the ocean ­ and back across the city through Paddington with its wrought iron terraces, to Darling Harbour. Your last evening includes dinner aboard a Captain Cook cruise of the fabulous Sydney harbour. Overnight: Sydney


DAY 15 ­ SYDNEY TO USA
You'll be transferred to the airport for your departure flight from Sydney to Los Angeles. Return to Los Angeles, with connections to continue homeward with fond memories of your trip Down Under.
