DAY 3 SYDNEY TO CAIRNS
THALA BEACH - PORT DOUGLAS
Arrive Sydney early morning
and transfer to your flight to the northeastern coast in the
state of Queensland. Transfer up the coast to Thala Beach Resort
near Port Douglas for three nights in an exclusive luxury haven
with over 2 kilometres of private sandy beach and sheltered coves.
DAY 4 CRUISE TO THE
GREAT BARRIER REEF (OR TAKE A DIVE TRIP)
You'll be transferred
to the departure point in for your cruise to the Great Barrier
Reef. Once at the reef you can choose to snorkel, scuba dive,
swim, and observe the coral from a semi-submersible. A sumptuous

DAY 5 THALA BEACH RESORT
DAY OF LEISURE
Enjoy the beach with
uninterrupted views for 110 kilometres, a remarkable vista studded
by coral islands, reefs and mountain ranges. Thala provides the
finer things in life at Osphreys Restaurant. Time to visit nearby
Port Douglas for shopping. Overnight: Thala Beach Resort
DAY 6 CAIRNS TO GLADSTONE
Depart your resort later
this morning for your flight from Cairns to Sydney. Upon arrival,
transfer to your hotel in the heart of Sydney. Overnight: Sydney
DAY 7 GLADSTONE TO HERON ISLAND
Enjoy a private tour this morning with driver/guide of the
highlights of Sydney. Your last evening in Australia includes
dinner aboard a Captain Cook cruise on the fabulous Sydney harbour.

DAY 8 SYDNEY - CHRISTCHURCH
Depart your hotel for
the airport and departure to Christchurch, South Island of New
Zealand. Upon arrival in Christchurch you will be met and transferred
to your hotel. Overnight: Christchurch
DAY 9 CHRISTCHURCH TO
QUEENSTOWN
Travel by overland to
Mt. Cook by motorcoach. Time here for a flight to the glacier
or lunch at Mt. Cook. Continue to Queenstown by coach and transfer
to hotel. Overnight: Queenstown
DAY 10 MILFORD SOUND
TOUR AND CRUISE
Early morning you'll
join your coach for the trip to Milford Sound. Travel alongside
Lake Wakatipu to Kingston, then to Mossburn and Lake Te Anau.
Soon you plunge into the beech forests of the beautiful Eglington
Valley then it's on through the Homer Tunnel to the awesome Cleddau
Canyon and the steep descent to Milford Sound where you will
cruise the Sound to Bowen Falls and Mitre Peak. Your lunch on
board is included today. Later retrace your route to Queenstown.

DAY 11 QUEENSTOWN TO
AUCKLAND
Depart Queenstown today
on a flight to Auckland, "City of Sails." Remainder
of the day is at leisure to explore the harbour on your own.

DEPART FOR USA
Enjoy a morning sightseeing
tour of the city including the highlights of the city. Later,
you'll be transferred to the airport for your departure flight
from Sydney to Los Angeles and onward connections.

Travel overland by motorcoach
to Waitomo Caves this morning and see the famous Glowworm Grotto
on a subterranean cruise. Continue to Rotorua by motorcoach.
In the evening you'll experience the Maori Hangi (feast) and

DAY 10 - ROTORUA
Experience the varied
sights that Rotorua has to offer, including the Whakerewareaw
Thermal Reserve. Learn about traditional Maori crafts at the
Maori Arts and Crafts Institute. Later your New Zealand hosts
will take you to their country home where you'll stay and have
dinner, becoming better acquainted with the lives of your hosts.

Depart Rotorua to return
