DAY 7 ­ KINGS CANYON ­ ALICE SPRINGS
Continue on your way overland to Alice Springs with the evening at leisure after arrival to poke around the "Town Called Alice" on your own. Overnight: Alice Springs

DAY 8 ­ ALICE SPRINGS - COOBER PEDY
You'll marvel at the vastness of the Australian outback as you travel by private plane to the moonscape of Coober Pedy, the Opal Capital of the World. DAY 9 ­ COPPER HILL STATION - ALICE SPRINGS
After breakfast, fly to Copper Hill Station and take a 4WD tour around the sheep station before an Aussie BBQ lunch by the billabong (waterhole) under the shade of an ancient coolabah tree.
